moving into words

writing from the body combines the groundbreaking work of emilie conrad's continuum movement with spontaneous writing emerging from the dive we make into our cellular selves. even as aging adults we are at least 65% water and water is not only the basis of movement in the body/mind but contains unlimited knowing of wholeness, of who we are and why we came on earth.

writing can be a creative act that has the power to bring deep understanding of the self and other and our inherent connectedness. before settling into the act of writing, we settle into our bodies through specific breaths and sounds. with prompts we release stories, poetry, music within us into words on a page/screen and through the critical response process, learn how to be more fully present in our expression.
